This web site is dedicated primarily to the promotion of the Hawaiian Steel Guitar and it's players by informing lovers of the most expressive musical instrument ever made, exactly where and when it can be enjoyed.

Many events are free, some of minimal costs. Where costs are substantial and known, they'll be highlighted in green.

Sad news to report: on 3/9/11 we lost the last steel playing member of the iconic Rogers family, Ronald Kanahele. Fondest Aloha to a fine and fun guy, whom we were fortunate to have had in our lives. _______

Each focus primarily on the sounds of the Hawaiian steel guitar and each of these fine multi-talented players did most of the instrumentation. The legendary Eddie Kamae, now 83, has launched a site dedicated to his historic band, The Son's Of Hawaii - www.sonsofhawaii.com     __________________

Be sure to check out the debut CD by The De Lima Ohana, called Kupu A'e. They have a classic traditional sound that keeps them in good standing with the original composer's of the best old style Hawaiian music. Kapena De Lima is on steel, and one to watch.
